Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the All-Party Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Ukraine

The support for Ukraine in the British Parliament remains unchanged and is based on common values - freedom, justice and respect for international law. This was confirmed by a meeting between the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, and the All-Party Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Ukraine, chaired by its Chairman, Alex Sobel.

During the conversation, the parties focused on key issues important for strengthening the Ukrainian-British partnership. Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasised that Ukraine needs more defence solutions now, and stressed the need to increase sanctions pressure and use frozen russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine.

The parties also discussed the need to close sanctions circumvention schemes and impose secondary restrictions on individuals and companies that assist the russian "shadow fleet" and military-industrial complex.

The participants of the meeting were united in their assessment of the situation: peace is possible only through strength - through strengthening the Ukrainian army, maximum pressure on the aggressor and unity of the allies.

The return of illegally deported Ukrainian children was also an important topic of the talks. Ruslan Stefanchuk thanked the British MPs for their participation in the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, stressing that this issue should remain among the international priorities until every child is returned home. "I am sincerely grateful to Alex Sobel and all British MPs for their commitment to Ukraine and support," said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
