The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada held a telephone conversation with the Marshal of the Polish Senate

During talks with Polish Senate Speaker Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk expressed gratitude for the Weimar Triangle's letter of support for Ukraine and highly appreciated the clear position of the Polish side: no decisions on Ukraine without Ukraine.

«Our parliaments are unanimous on this issue. Any agreements made without Ukraine's participation will only encourage russia to make new attempts to seize foreign territories,» the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada emphasised.

Ruslan Stefanchuk called for no reduction in military and financial assistance until decisions are made that are in Ukraine's interests, and for continued sanctions pressure on the aggressor.

The parties agreed to actively cooperate at the level of parliamentary diplomacy to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine and Europe.
