Ruslan Stefanchuk took part in a meeting of the heads of Ukraine’s foreign diplomatic missions
This year’s meeting was held under the slogan «From the Power of Diplomacy to the Diplomacy of Power.» In his speech, Ruslan Stefanchuk thanked Ukrainian diplomats for their daily, often unseen but strategically vital work. He emphasized that it is through the coordinated efforts of parliamentary and traditional diplomacy that Ukraine enjoys strong international support — political, security, and humanitarian. «We must preserve the synergy that is already delivering results — and should work for an even greater impact,» noted the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Ruslan Stefanchuk expressed his gratitude to Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha for a substantive discussion with ambassadors, as well as for the ongoing cooperation and support of interparliamentary diplomacy.
He also outlined key joint diplomatic priorities: uniting parliaments around the world in support of Ukraine, increasing sanctions pressure on russia, securing consistent military assistance, promoting accountability for the aggressor, involving foreign parliaments in Ukraine’s reconstruction, and supporting the country’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Separately, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called for continued efforts toward international recognition of the 1932–1933 Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
