The EU announced the signing of agreements for Ukraine worth EUR 2.3 billion: Denys Shmyhal

EUR 2.3 billion in loan guarantees and grants will be provided to Ukraine by the European Union. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has confirmed the signing of agreements for Ukraine announced by the EU.

"It is expected to attract up to EUR 10 billion of investments in the recovery," the Head of the Ukrainian Government stressed and expressed his gratitude to the European partners for their unwavering support.

In addition, according to Denys Shmyhal, the launch of the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund with an initial capital of EUR 220 million was announced.

"The initiative aims to stimulate private investment in critical sectors: energy, infrastructure, and industry. We are grateful to the European Commission, the EIB, France, Germany, Italy, and Poland for their support," he said.

The Prime Minister stressed that the next step should be the confiscation of frozen assets of the russian federation.

"This is a matter of justice, sustainable development and security," the Head of Government summed up.
