Prime Minister of Ukraine and Norwegian Finance Minister discuss energy security and military aid
On the sidelines of the OECD in Paris, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with Norwegian Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg. The parties discussed several issues regarding support for Ukraine.
In particular, they addressed the provision of gas supplies for Ukraine for the upcoming heating season. They also considered matters of military assistance and the situation on the frontline, including the recent successful operations by Ukrainian defenders.
“It is crucial to ensure uninterrupted support to protect both Ukraine and Europe,” Denys Shmyhal emphasised.
He expressed gratitude to Norway for the assistance provided to Ukraine.
