On 31 March, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with an Austrian delegation headed by the Member Governor of Lower Austria, Johanna Mikl-Leitner.
The parties discussed cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including social and economic.
"Today's visit of the Austrian business delegation on the third anniversary of the liberation of Kyiv region from russian occupation is a strong signal of Austria's readiness to invest in Ukraine," said Denys Shmyhal.
He emphasised that Austrian business was represented in Ukraine and was interested in participating in recovery projects.
The meeting participants also focused on cooperation in the energy sector, including renewable energy, as well as in the infrastructure sector.
The Prime Minister spoke about the steps the Government was taking on its European integration path.
"Our country will definitely become part of the united European family, and an investment in Ukraine now is an investment in a future EU member," said Denys Shmyhal.
