Olexandr Mischenko received copies of credentials from Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Ukraine Mohammed Abdulaziz Saleh Al-Barakah
On December 19, 2024 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Ukraine Mohammed Al-Barakah.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key aspects of Ukrainian-Saudi relations and the prospects for their further development, in particular in the political, economic and energy spheres.
Olexandr Mischenko expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its consistent support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the Saudi delegation’s participation in international efforts supporting the Peace Formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Deputy Minister also thanked Saudi Arabia for its humanitarian assistance aimed at addressing the urgent needs of the Ukrainian population, which has suffered from the consequences of the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine.
Ambassador Mohammed Al-Barakah stressed the Kingdom's readiness to promote the expansion of Ukrainian-Saudi cooperation, particularly in the trade, economic and agricultural spheres. The Ambassador emphasized the significance of further dialogue to enhance bilateral relations and carry out joint practical initiatives.
