Andrii Sybiha received Ambassador of China to Ukraine Fan Xianrong on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission

On November 4, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha received Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine Fan Xianrong on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in our country.

The Foreign Minister noted the ambassador's significant personal contribution to development of Ukrainian-Chinese relations and interaction, which has significantly intensified this year.

In particular, after a long pause, bilateral political consultations were held at the level of deputy foreign ministers of Ukraine and China, the first visit of the Foreign Minister of Ukraine to China in the last twelve years, as well as a meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries in New York on the sidelines of this year’s session of the UN General Assembly took place.

The minister wished the Ambassador every success in his further activities and expressed his belief that Mr. Fan Xianrong would remain a sincere friend of Ukraine and would continue to make efforts to deepen the friendship between our states.
