Denys Shmyhal and Andrzej Duda discussed support for Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO
On the Independence Day of Ukraine, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with President of Poland Andrzej Duda in Kyiv.
"We appreciate our friendly bilateral relations and the powerful assistance from the Polish Government and people," said the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
The parties discussed support for Ukraine's European integration and Euro-Atlantic path. Denys Shmyhal noted that Poland had made a significant contribution in this direction.
"Thank you for the offer from the Polish side to assist in the technical progress of the EU accession negotiations. We have an ambition to go through this process quickly," the Prime Minister of Ukraine said.
For his part, Andrzej Duda assured that Poland advocated Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO.
