On August 8, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha met with Maria Lindgren-Saltanova, Coordinator for Ukraine at the Swedish National Security Adviser's Office.
The First Deputy Foreign Minister highly appraised the current state of bilateral cooperation and positively assessed the results of the Third Ukraine-Nordic Summit held in Stockholm in May.
Andrii Sybiha expressed his gratitude for the leadership and support provided by the Swedish government and society to Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
The interlocutors discussed perspective areas of cooperation in the military and security sphere aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
A. Sybiha thanked Sweden for joining the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula and for its readiness to take further joint steps on its implementation.
The sides paid special attention to the issue of increasing international pressure on Russia and bringing the aggressor to international legal responsibility.
On her part, Maria Lindgren-Saltanova assured of Sweden's continued support for Ukraine.
