Establishing Contacts with the US States, Energy and Security: the President Held a Meeting with the Heads of the Regional Military Administrations

 

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Heads of the Regional Military Administrations of Ukraine and listened to each of them report on the operational situation, in particular on fortifications and energy.

The Head of State emphasized the necessity and importance of the meeting of the Heads of the Regional Military Administrations and the Government officials to solve the problems of the communities as soon as possible. These problems are related to security, energy, the heating season and the educational process.

The President instructed them to establish cooperation at the regional level with representatives of the US states. He also discussed this issue with the US Governors during his visit to the United States.

"We agreed on the possibility of establishing direct contacts between the Heads of Regional Administrations and communities not only through the central authorities. They are ready to help. And they have a great desire to work at the level of regional structures. So, I would like you to take up this project and start preparing it. I think we can gather our American colleagues this fall," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

According to him, cooperation is possible, in particular, in the areas of energy, education, medicine, rehabilitation, and shelter provision.
