The Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine
“We are grateful to the Israeli side for providing humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and for its intention to continue doing so in the future,” said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk during a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky.
The parties discussed a number of issues, including inter-parliamentary cooperation. Noting the productive dialogue between the institutions, they also paid attention to cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Knesset of Israel. “Maintaining the positive dynamics of political dialogue is essential for the implementation of the bilateral cooperation agenda,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk, emphasizing that it is necessary to continue moving forward on the inter-parliamentary track.
“Our countries are suffering from external aggression. Therefore, it is extremely important to demonstrate unity and join forces in countering enemy attacks,” the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine emphasized.
