The security of all European countries without exception depends on how strong Ukraine will be
Ukraine today is a shield of Europe. It is a shield against russian imperialism, barbarism, and authoritarianism. This was emphasized by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a joint press briefing with the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk.
"The security of all European countries, without exception, depends on how strong this shield will be, how strong Ukraine will be," Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
According to the Head of the Ukrainian Government, in the 698 days since the beginning of the full-scale war, Poland has provided Ukraine with weapons and equipment worth almost USD 3.5 billion.
"We are talking about hundreds of tanks, planes, helicopters, air defense systems, anti-aircraft missile systems, armored personnel carriers and infantry combat vehicles, anti-tank weapons, artillery and ammunition," noted Denys Shmyhal.
During his visit to Kyiv, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced a new package of military assistance.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine thanked for this support and noted that this aid package would further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the defense sector, support the Ukrainian army and bring the regaining of the territorial integrity of our country closer.
