Implementation of joint projects will enhance the energy potential of both Ukraine and Poland

During a meeting in Kyiv on January 22, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk focused on cooperation in the energy and oil sectors, as well as the implementation of new projects for the development of the energy market.

"Ukraine and Poland have a tremendous potential for cooperation in the energy sector," the Head of the Ukrainian Government emphasized.

During the meeting, the parties addressed the construction of the Rivne NPP-Chelm and Lviv-Krosno overhead lines.

Last year, a transmission line between Khmelnytsky NPP and Rzeszów was launched.

In addition, the Prime Minister of Ukraine noted that cooperation was also important in creating a new European oil supply route.

"We are eager to start work on the construction of a new connector for our oil pipelines. Brody - Adamowo-Zastawa could become part of a new route within the Euro-Asian Oil Transportation Corridor project," Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
