For his contribution to the development of relations between Ukraine and Lithuania, the Primate of the Kyiv Patriarchate awarded Valdemaras Sarapinas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine, with the Order of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
