The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the Senate Ukrainian Caucus led by the Senator Dick Durbin
"We cannot allow putin to win, because he will not stop, but will continue his aggression. Against other countries. Therefore, it is important to stop him. We need to destroy his military and economic potential," the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine stressed first of all.
He also noted that in its struggle, Ukraine needs the support of partners and allies, the most strategic of which is and remains the United States.
"First of all, I appeal to the Senators to consider and support the funding of additional expenditures to help Ukraine for the next year," Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed.
In addition, the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine did not ignore another important topic – transparency and accountability of all assistance provided to Ukraine.
He assured that Ukraine bears full responsibility for the use of the aid and provides relevant reports: "And the most valuable thing we have received from our partners is trust."
For their part, the senators assured that they would do everything possible to ensure that assistance to Ukraine continues.
