The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Michael Johnson
"The bipartisan support of the US Congress is one of the fundamental values that Ukraine has. We appreciate it very much," said Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk during a crucial meeting with Speaker of the House of Representatives Michael Johnson.
The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak and Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
Ruslan Stefanchuk noted that Ukraine needs further assistance from the United States, both financial and military. Therefore, the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine asked the US Congress to support important decisions for Ukraine.
In addition, he stressed that the speed of advancement of Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield depends on the speed of providing Ukraine with weapons.
"Ukraine is aware of the importance of US assistance and will always appreciate the support. After all, our countries share common values and common visions," said Ruslan Stefanchuk, assuring that Ukraine is ready to continue implementing all important reforms.
In conclusion, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed the need to demonstrate unity, especially in the fight against the russian aggressor.
