Mykola Tochytskyi received copies of credentials of newly appointed Ambassador of Bangladesh to Ukraine Sultana Laila Hossein

 

 

On November 9, 2023 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mykola Tochytskyi received copies of credentials of newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Ukraine Sultana Laila Hossein.

Mykola Tochytskyi expressed gratitude for support of the resolutions at the UN initiated by Ukraine. He also expressed hope that Bangladesh will actively participate in the implementation of the Peace Formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as in the activities of the International Crimea Platform.

Sultana Laila Hossain assured of further unwavering Bangladesh’s support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Interlocutors focused on the implementation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, because Bangladesh is historically one of the largest importers of Ukrainian grain.

The parties also discussed the ways on deepening the political dialogue, as well as the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic sphere.

The Deputy Minister wished the Ambassador success and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation between the two countries.
