The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the Speaker of the Knesset of the State of Israel Amir Ohana
The meeting with the Speaker of the Israeli Parliament was the first in the framework of the working visit of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk to Ireland.
The parties discussed a number of important issues, including the crimes committed by the russian federation in Ukraine on a daily basis, the global consequences of russian aggression and the value of supporting Ukraine.
"Today, the struggle for what the world will look like in the next 100 years continues. The whole world will be looking at the winner," the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine emphasized.
Ruslan Stefanchuk noted that "a terrible battle between dictatorship and democracy is now underway": "It is very important that democracy wins. It will be a testament to the fact that democracy is strong."
The heads of the parliaments of Ukraine and Israel also paid attention to the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called on the Israeli Parliament to join the implementation of this initiative.
In conclusion, Ruslan Stefanchuk thanked the Israeli side for providing humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and its intention to continue doing so in the future. He emphasized that Ukraine greatly appreciates the support of its friends and allies.
