Emine Dzhaparova received copies of credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine

First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova received copies of credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Natalka Cmoc.

Emine Dzhaparova congratulated the Ambassador on the start of her diplomatic mission, which begins at the most challenging time in the history of independent Ukraine when our country defends its sovereignty from full-scale Russian armed aggression. First Deputy Minister emphasized that the continuation and increase in military support from international partners, including Canada, is a guarantee of bringing our victory closer.

She expressed gratitude for Canada’s substantial security, economic and humanitarian assistance, sanctions pressure on the aggressor-state, and Canada’s active involvement in the implementation of a number of Ukrainian initiatives, including the Peace Formula initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the International Crimea Platform.

Ambassador Natalka Cmoc assured of Canada’s resolve to continue supporting Ukraine in its fight for freedom, as well as in post-war rebuilding and the implementation of reforms.

The parties discussed a number of topics on the bilateral agenda and further steps to strengthen the relations of friendship and special partnership between Ukraine and Canada.
