The Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk held a working meeting with the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zeljko Komsic and a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Becirovic.
First of all, the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the financial assistance provided by Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Red Cross Society through the International Committee of the Red Cross: “This is an act of humanity that underlines the high level of relations between our countries.”
“Ukraine is counting on Bosnia and Herzegovina to join the imposition of sanctions against russia and the implementation of EU sanctions,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk, adding that it is also extremely important to intensify political contacts.
At the same time, during the meeting, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that he counted on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s participation in the implementation of the Peace Formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
“Ukraine is always committed to respecting its neighbours, territorial integrity and international law. The doors of the Parliament of Ukraine are always open for true friends of Ukraine,” the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine said in conclusion.
