The Head of State accepted credentials from newly appointed ambassadors of Chile, Colombia and Peru

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy accepted credentials of the newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary during a ceremony held on the territory of the National Reserve "St. Sophia of Kyiv": Aylin Estrella Joo Liem of the Republic of Chile, Assad Jose Jater Peña of the Republic of Colombia, and Hubert Wieland Conroy of the Republic of Peru.

During a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Chile Aylin Estrella Joo Liem, Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked for the continued support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, and noted the importance of the Latin American countries' position on establishing a just peace for our country.

"We see Chile as one of the regional leaders and an important partner in South America," he said.

The Head of State expressed gratitude to Chile for humanitarian support, particularly for the needs of forced migrants from Ukraine, and for the readiness to join the humanitarian demining of the de-occupied territories of our country after the end of the war.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope for Chile's active involvement in the implementation of the points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and thanked the Chilean side for the participation of its representative in the consultations of diplomatic advisors on the implementation of the Formula, which took place in Saudi Arabia.

With Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia Assad Jose Jater Peña, the President discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the states, in particular, intensification of economic cooperation and increase in trade turnover.

"We are grateful for the humanitarian aid during this war that your government has provided to Ukrainians. And, of course, for your diplomatic support at the UN level," he said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy focused on the situation on the frontline and expressed hope that Colombia would support the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

The parties discussed important aspects of bilateral cooperation.

Speaking to Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to Ukraine Hubert Wieland Conroy, the President informed him on the preparation of the Global Summit on the implementation of the Peace Formula and invited Peru to support the implementation of its points.

The Head of State also invited Peru to consider joining the Grain from Ukraine initiative, as today our country and the whole world are facing acute challenges in the issue of food security due to the blockade of the Black Sea by Russia.

"We are planning the second summit of this initiative. The first one was very successful. We had many participating states from America, Asia and Africa," he said.

The parties discussed the prospects of holding a Ukraine-Latin America summit in the context of intensifying our country's relations with this important region.

During the meetings with the ambassadors of Chile, Colombia and Peru, Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited the presidents of these countries to participate in the third summit of the international Crimea Platform and visit Ukraine.
