What the world will be like depends on us and our actions today
Within the framework of the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which is taking place these days in London, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko took part in a side event organised by the Baroness Frances D'Souza.
In his welcoming remarks, the First Vice Speaker emphasised the messages of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, which he announced during his speech at the Conference, in particular, the implementation of the peace formula.
“Defence of Ukraine is the defence of freedom. And this is a global task. And what the world will be like depends on us and our actions today,” Oleksandr Korniienko stressed.
During the event, he also met with the Lord Speaker of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom, Baron John McFall. Oleksandr Korniienko expressed his gratitude for supporting Ukraine and fighting side by side.
In conclusion, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko invited the participants to pay working visits to the capital of our unbreakable state – Kyiv.
