As part of a working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak.

The Head of State thanked the British Prime Minister for the leadership of the United Kingdom in the international fighter jet coalition.

The parties discussed the further implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the President of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, which took place on May 14.

Zelenskyy and Sunak exchanged views on the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and the United Kingdom and coordinated their positions on the eve of the participation of the Ukrainian Head of State in the G7 Summit.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy holds meeting with Prime Minister of Italy in Japan

As part of a working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giorgia Meloni.

The parties noted the importance of continuing the dialogue between Ukraine and Italy on important issues of bilateral relations.

Zelenskyy and Meloni also discussed the first results of the visit of the President of Ukraine to Italy, which took place on May 13.

During the meeting, the defense and political support for our country from the Italian Republic was discussed.

The President of Ukraine emphasized the need to improve the air defense capability, including flight training for our pilots.

The leaders coordinated their positions on the eve of Zelenskyy's participation in the G7 Summit.

President of Ukraine holds meeting with Prime Minister of India in Japan

As part of a working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.

The President thanked India for supporting our country's territorial integrity and sovereignty, in particular, at the platforms of international organizations.

The Head of State also thanked India for providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

"The war brought many crises and suffering. Deported children, mined territories, destroyed cities, destroyed destinies," Zelenskyy said.

The President spoke about Ukraine's needs in humanitarian demining and mobile hospitals.

The Head of State briefed Narendra Modi in detail on the Ukrainian Peace Formula and invited India to join the implementation of this initiative.

For his part, the Prime Minister of India thanked for the help provided to Indian students during the evacuation from Ukraine because of the full-scale Russian invasion.

President of Ukraine meets with President of the European Council in Japan

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy as part of his working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, held a meeting with President of the European Council Charles Michel.

The parties discussed the course of implementation of the European Commission's recommendations for opening negotiations regarding our country's accession to the European Union.

At the meeting, particular attention was paid to the export restrictions on Ukrainian agricultural products by some European Union states and the inadmissibility of their extension after June 5.

Zelenskyy and Michel discussed concrete ways of implementing the Ukrainian Peace Formula and consolidating world support for Ukraine's peace initiative.

During visit to Japan Volodymyr Zelenskyy meets with Emmanuel Macron

As part of a working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.

The Head of State thanked France for important decisions regarding military and humanitarian support for Ukraine.

Zelenskyy noted the importance of France's support for the fighter jet coalition and the country's participation in the training mission for Ukrainian pilots.

The President of Ukraine emphasized the priority of implementing the Ukrainian Peace Formula and involving as many countries as possible in this process.

He briefed the President of France on his fruitful visit to the Arab League summit.

Zelensky thanked Macron for starting the implementation of the agreements reached during his visit to France on May 13 and continuing defense cooperation.

President of Ukraine holds meeting with Federal Chancellor of Germany in Japan

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as part of his working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, held a meeting with Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz.

The leaders discussed the first results of the visit of the Ukrainian Head of State to Germany, which took place on May 13.

Zelenskyy thanked for the powerful defense assistance Ukraine receives from Germany.

The President noted the importance of implementing the points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

The Head of State and the Federal Chancellor of Germany coordinated their positions on the eve of the G7 Summit.

President of Ukraine met with Prime Minister of Canada in Hiroshima

While on a working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.

The two leaders discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda, paying special attention to further cooperation in the security and defense sector.

"I highly appreciate the fact that friendly Canada is one of the leaders in supporting Ukraine in countering Russian aggression. But now is a critical moment for us and for the whole world, and Ukraine needs enhanced assistance," the President said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefed Justin Trudeau on the situation at the front and shared the assessment of its possible development.

The Head of State praised the assistance provided by Canada for demining the territories liberated from Russian invaders.

"I would like to thank you for the practical assistance in demining and for the prompt processing of our requests by your government and Canadian manufacturers," the President noted.

The parties also discussed the training of Ukrainian junior officers as part of the UNIFIER Canadian training mission.

Canada's consistent strengthening of sanctions pressure on Russia was highly praised.

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of implementing all points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

The President also focused on the issue of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration. He noted that at the NATO Summit in Vilnius in July, concrete decisions on our country's membership in the Alliance should be made and clear signals should be given that Ukraine will become a member of NATO.

President of Ukraine had a meeting with the President of Indonesia in Japan

During his working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed his interlocutor about the course of hostilities in Ukraine. The Head of State drew attention to the shelling of the civilian infrastructure of our country.

He called on the President of Indonesia to support Ukraine's efforts to return illegally deported children.

Joko Widodo commended the continuation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative. The parties noted the importance of its expansion.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula. Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the President of Indonesia for the invitation to participate in the G20 Summit in November 2022, where the Ukrainian Peace Formula was presented to the world.

The President of Ukraine also expressed gratitude to Indonesia for its readiness to support the efforts to restore our country, particularly in the healthcare sector.

President of Ukraine had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Korea

During his working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol.

The Head of State informed his interlocutor of the situation at the front and the course of repulsing the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation.

The President of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the Republic of Korea for humanitarian and non-lethal assistance to our country, in particular for the provision of demining vehicles and protective equipment.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope for continued cooperation.

The parties also discussed the recent visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the Republic of Korea.

The Head of State noted the high level of organization of the visit and thanked for the attention to the projects presented by the First Lady of Ukraine.

The parties confirmed the agreements reached during the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the Republic of Korea and agreed to exchange visits of delegations.
