In today's telephone conversation with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley, we traditionally paid attention to the issue of the supply of military equipment, weapons and ammunition within the framework of international technical assistance to Ukraine, the situation on the front line and further plans of the Defence Forces of our country regarding the de-occupation of its territory.
I updated the need to strengthen the capabilities of the air defence system of Ukraine, in particular through the provision of F16 multirole fighter aircraft.
I thanked General Milley, US leadership and people for the continuous support of our state in the struggle against unjust and unprovoked russian aggression. Each shell received, each piece of materiel - are the preserved lives of the Ukrainian soldiers and peaceful civilians. We're hanging in there because of the support of our partners and we will definitely prevail.
