Achievements and challenges, victories and successes – these are all part of Ukraine’s path of invincibility

Ukrainian institutions are much stronger than the enemy and even allies expected. Achievements and challenges, victories and successes are all part of Ukraine’s path of invincibility. This was emphasized by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on February 24.

“First of all, these are our military victories. Victory in the Battle of Kyiv. The liberation of Chernihiv region. The liberation of Sumy region. Kharkiv region. The liberation of Zmiinyi Island. The liberation of Kherson. Hundreds of towns and villages with blue and yellow flags again. Second. It's the Ukrainian Army. It is one of the strongest in Europe and the world. The security and defense forces have been, are and will be an absolute priority for our Government,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

The third, as the Head of Government noted, is the pro-Ukrainian coalition in the world. Thanks to the leadership of President Zelenskyy, thanks to the work of diplomats and Government officials, thanks to millions of Ukrainians around the world, the pro-Ukrainian coalition is strong and united. The fourth, according to the Prime Minister, is Ukraine’s path to the EU and NATO.

“February 28, 2022. Ukraine applies for EU membership. June 23, 2022. Ukraine receives the status of a candidate for EU membership. We were not just granted this status. We have earned it. We have been working on it for many days, months, and years,” said Denys Shmyhal.

According to the Prime Minister, the fifth point on the path of Ukraine’s invincibility is finance and budget: financial stability of the country, timely payment of pensions, social benefits, salaries of doctors and teachers, indexation of pensions, launch of new assistance programs.

“Sixth. Our energy front. Despite hundreds of missiles and drones. Despite all the russian terror. Our energy system is functioning. There is no shortage of electricity. Air defense, power engineers, rescuers. Their professionalism did not allow russia to plunge us into darkness,” the Head of Government noted.

Seventh – food security. The Prime Minister emphasized that the state had done everything to help farmers overcome the most difficult sowing season in history: grants, loans, seeds, fertilizers, crop storage, new logistics. Eighth, in his words, are incredible Ukrainian entrepreneurs.

“28,000 companies are involved in mobilization tasks. This is to provide the Army with supplies. To ensure that all critical needs of the country are met. 76% of entrepreneurs plan to expand their business this year. Despite all the challenges and crises. Ukrainian entrepreneurs are the foundation of a successful economy. The basis for the future reconstruction and revival of our country,” the Prime Minister emphasized and added that the ninth factor was the restoration of Ukraine. The restoration that has already begun.

“And the tenth is Ukrainian unity. The unity of the Ukrainian people, which helped us in the most difficult moment of our history. The unity that the enemy did not count on. The unity that made us unbreakable. The unity that will help us win,” Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
