Prime Ministers of Ukraine and the Netherlands coordinate recovery assistance issues

On February 17, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte in Kyiv. The parties discussed the acceleration of arms supplies and the leadership of the Netherlands in establishing a special international tribunal to prosecute russia's political leadership.

Denys Shmyhal informed Mark Rutte about the complicated situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP and the Kakhovka Reservoir: "It is urgent to stop the nuclear terrorism of the russian federation and impose sanctions against rosatom. We are grateful to the Netherlands for their steadfast support of sanctions."

The heads of government also focused on coordinating assistance for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure. They also talked about joint work on the return of children illegally deported from Ukraine to russia. Mark Rutte assured of the Netherlands' readiness to facilitate this process. The governments of both countries will increase coordination at the ministerial level.

Denys Shmyhal thanked the Government of the Netherlands and the Dutch people for their support and efforts towards Ukraine's victory.
