Muslims of Ukraine: different traditions, one faith in God… The Head of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine, the Supreme Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed Tamim was born in 1956 in Beirut (Lebanon). He has two higher educations, secular and religious оne. Sheikh Ahmed Tamim arrived in Ukraine in 1976. He studied at the Faculty of Computer Engineering of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. In 1982 he graduated it with a degree in "Microprocessor Systems and Local Area Networks". He received his religious education at the Faculty of Theology «Imam Aza"I” at the Arab University of Beirut. Sheikh Ahmed Tamim is the citizen of Ukraine. He is married and has five children.
