The event, initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was attended by delegations from 46 countries. Opening the summit, the President of Ukraine noted that on August 23, 2021, a significant event took place: for the first time since the occupation of the Ukrainian Crimea, this issue has been raised to the highest international level. Volodymyr Zelenskyy greeted 46 delegations - participants of the first summit of the Crimea Platform.
