Ukraine is ready to be an integral part of Europe's security architecture: Svyrydenko Yulia
Ukraine is ready to be an integral part of Europe's security architecture. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko told about that at the Three Seas Summit in Croatia.

"This format should take on a new role in Europe’s security architecture, which has changed significantly over this decade. Ukraine is ready to be an integral part of it – as a country that is already making a substantial contribution to the security, resilience, and development of the entire region," stressed the Head of Government in a statement.
Yulia Svyrydenko accentuated, first and foremost are security and defense. Ukrainians are writing the new rules of modern warfare. The effective use of Ukrainian maritime drones, together with support from partners, has made safe navigation at sea possible and enabled the operation of Ukraine’s grain corridor, which is important for global food security.
"The energy dimension is a key area for both security and economic stability. Together with our partners, we are working to diversify energy and gas supply routes, including through the development of the Vertical Gas Corridor. This is a matter of security and political independence for all of Europe," noted the Head of Government.
Within the Three Seas Initiative, Ukraine proposed specific goals: extending the Via Carpathia route from Rzeszów through Lviv to Kyiv; extending Rail2Sea to the port of Odesa; and creating dedicated capacities for reverse gas flows into Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities through interconnectors with neighboring states.
"The Three Seas Investment Fund should include a dedicated window for Ukrainian projects. We expect the first financing package to be opened during the upcoming Polish presidency. This will allow us to launch practical solutions in infrastructure, logistics, and energy more quickly," stressed Yulia Svyrydenko.
The Prime Minister thanked the countries of the region for supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, including their assistance in restoring logistics routes and strengthening energy security.
