Prime Minister discusses development of bilateral cooperation and support for Ukraine with Speaker of the Estonian Parliament

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko met with Lauri Hussar, Speaker of the Parliament (President of the Riigicogu) of the Republic of Estonia, during the Three Seas Initiative Summit.

At the meeting, which took place in Dubrovnik, the parties had the opportunity to exchange views on issues of Ukrainian-Estonian cooperation.

The Head of Government thanked Estonia for its consistent support of Ukraine in all areas, particularly for supporting the energy sector last winter.

“The Estonian Parliament was among the first to ratify the Enlarged Partial Agreement establishing the Management Committee of the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine. They later also ratified the Convention establishing the International Compensation Commission to examine claims for compensation for damage caused to Ukraine by russia’s aggression,” emphasized Yulia Svyrydenko.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine expressed her gratitude to Estonia’s partners for their principled stance and solidarity with Ukraine in ensuring justice for our people and punishment for the aggressor.
