Yulia Svyrydenko addressed the importance of sustaining and strengthening support for Ukraine with Senate and Congressional Caucuses
During a working visit to the United States, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko held meetings with the Senate and Congressional Ukraine Caucuses.

Bipartisan support for Ukraine in the U.S. Congress remains very important for Ukraine. The Prime Minister emphasised this and thanked the caucuses for their consistent support and unwavering stance.
“We discussed the importance of sustaining and strengthening support for Ukraine – particularly in the areas of security assistance, financial support, and sanctions pressure on russia. We outlined Ukraine’s key defence needs, with our top priority now being protection against russian ballistic missiles. This will determine our ability to get through the coming winter, protect our people and safeguard our energy infrastructure,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.
The Prime Minister stressed that Ukraine seeks a just and lasting peace. One of the key tools for achieving peace is stronger pressure on russia. Sanctions are already reducing the capacity of russia’s war machine – and that pressure must only intensify. It is critically important to restrict the supply of components used in weapons production and to continue reducing russia’s revenues from oil and gas exports – this is what gradually weakens its ability to wage war.
At the same time, Yulia Svyrydenko noted that Ukraine is offering its partners some of the most advanced defence solutions and unique operational experience in using them. These are technologies built for modern warfare, tested in real combat conditions, and continuously improved. These are exactly the types of Ukrainian solutions required for global security needs today.
“I am grateful to every Congressman and every Congresswoman who supports Ukraine and contributes to achieving a just and lasting peace. Ukrainian flags displayed across American states are a moving and deeply meaningful symbol of support for us. We are also grateful to every American volunteer who stands shoulder to shoulder with our service members in defence of the highest value – freedom,” concluded Yulia Svyrydenko.
