Yulia Svyrydenko: Ukraine is set to receive EUR 2.7 billion under the Ukraine Facility programme
Ukraine is set to receive a financial assistance package worth EUR 2.7 billion as part of the Ukraine Facility programme. This has been made possible thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Government and the Verkhovna Rada, which have adopted the necessary legislative decisions to continue the funding.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko held a meeting with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.
The parties discussed the further implementation of the Ukraine Facility programme. Ukraine is set to receive a funding package of up to EUR 2.7 billion. The funds will be used to support macro-financial stability.
“This has been made possible by the joint work of the Government and Parliament. Last week, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a number of key decisions required to ensure continued financing, including legislation on the digitalisation of enforcement proceedings, integration into the EU energy market, and reform of the state supervision system,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the Government continues consultations with Members of Parliament regarding further legislative changes needed to fulfil Ukraine’s commitments to its partners.
Particular attention during the meeting was given to the technical issues of ensuring the first tranche of the European Union loan worth EUR 90 billion.
The meeting also focused on Ukraine’s progress on its path to EU membership. The Prime Minister stressed that Ukraine is consistently taking all the necessary steps in the European integration process and is moving towards meeting the requirements across all six thematic clusters.
“As part of this effort, the Government has already adopted the National Programme for the Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to EU law. This is an important milestone on the path to full EU membership, providing for the implementation of more than 1,600 EU legal acts,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.
