Yulia Svyrydenko met with President of the European Investment Bank Nadia Calviño
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko met with President of the European Investment Bank Nadia Calviño. The Head of Government thanked the EIB for the financial support it provides to Ukraine, including grants backed by European Commission guarantees.
The parties had a focused discussion on Ukraine’s needs for the current year, most importantly, for the preparation for the next heating season.
They also paid special attention to one of the key Government’s priorities on the agenda - housing for the Ukrainian people, especially of those whose homes either had been ruined as a result of russian attacks or had remained on the occupied territory. Opportunities for support and joint projects in this area were also explored.
“We are grateful to the EIB for its readiness to move quickly and provide timely, much-needed support to Ukraine,” stressed the head of Government.
