Olexandr Mischenko Held a Meeting with Ambassador of Kazakhstan Tolezhan Barlybayev
Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Tolezhan Barlybayev.
During the meeting, Olexandr Mischenko reviewed the outcomes of his recent working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan and expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side for organising the visit, as well as for the constructive meetings and talks held in Astana. The parties also discussed prospects for further intensifying bilateral relations and agreed on a tentative schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts.
The Ukrainian diplomat emphasized that Ukraine attaches particular significance to the development of relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan, an important partner of Ukraine in Central Asia, and is also interested in cooperation within the multilateral “CA+” formats.
The Deputy Minister thanked the leadership and people of Kazakhstan for their consistent and principled support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, as well as for the implementation by the Kazakh side of several humanitarian projects, particularly those aimed at the rehabilitation of Ukrainian children affected by the war.
Particular attention was given to intensifying cooperation in the trade and economic area.
