Yulia Svyrydenko met with Secretary of State for International Development of Canada
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko met with Secretary of State for International Development of Canada, Randeep Sarai.

Yulia Svyrydenko briefed her interlocutor on Ukrainian Government’s work to prepare for the coming heating seasons under the Regional Resilience Plans, as well as on Ukraine’s key needs for energy equipment to expand distributed generation.
"We highly value Canada’s consistent support in strengthening our country, including the recently announced CAD 20 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. We are also grateful to Canada for the readiness to establish the multi-donor Veterans Support Fund for Ukraine to strengthen reintegration services for our people after military service as well as assistance in providing housing for them," stressed the Head of Ukrainian Government.
The parties separately focused on cooperation between the two countries in the field of critical minerals and the development of mineral deposits. They also agreed to strengthen cooperation in geological exploration.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine invited Canadian partners to become active participants in the International Donor Conference aimed at mobilizing support for recovery after the russian attack on the New Safe Confinement at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
"A sincere thanks for Canada’s solidarity and humanitarian support," added Yulia Svyrydenko.
