The meeting with H.E. Mr. Hashem Dajani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the of Palestine to Ukraine, became a substantive and in-depth exchange on the pressing challenges of the contemporary world that

 

Over the course of an hour, we had the opportunity to hear well-balanced assessments and in-depth analytical reflections of the Ambassador on the transformation of the global security architecture, particularly in the context of ongoing armed conflicts, the role of leading international actors in maintaining global order, as well as the complex and multidimensional dynamics in one of the world’s key regions. Special attention was also given to the influence of regional players and the factors contributing to destabilizing processes within the international security system.

At the heart of the discussion were issues related to the search for effective mechanisms of diplomatic conflict resolution, the strengthening of international law, and the need for greater consolidation of efforts by the international community to achieve a just, sustainable peace and long-term security.

Following the meeting, it was decided to prepare an extended interview, which, we believe, will be of considerable interest to the readers of Kyiv Diplomatic Magazine.
