Yulia Svyrydenko: We welcome Norway’s decision to provide USD 200 million in budget support for Ukraine through the World Bank’s PEACE project
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko welcomed a decision of Norway to provide USD 200 million in budget support for Ukraine through the World Bank’s PEACE project.

"We are sincerely grateful for this timely contribution towards Ukraine’s macro-financial stability and the uninterrupted functioning of essential public services, and effort reflecting Norway’s principled leadership and steadfast support for Ukraine during this period of immense challenge," stressed the Head of Government.
The Prime Minister stressed that having been launched in 2022 in response to russia’s full-scale invasion, the PEACE in Ukraine project had mobilised nearly USD 52 billion to date, including USD 13.4 billion allocated to pension payments.
Yulia Svyrydenko thanked the Government of Norway: "We deeply value Norway’s partnership and unwavering solidarity with Ukraine".
