Ukrainian journalists were warmly welcomed with snifters of 15-year-old Havana Club Gran Reserva 15 Años and a vibrant Cuban hit performed by local musicians.

It is especially delightful when your spontaneous initiative becomes part of the orchestra’s improvisation — and, fortunately, does not provoke collective criticism of your rather modest vocal abilities.

Cuba has a unique way of blending tradition, rhythm, and genuine hospitality — and that is exactly how we remember it.
