The Head of Government thanked for the European Union’s important decision to provide EUR 90 billion in financial assistance to Ukraine for 2026–2027 under the EU Support Loan for Ukraine.

“Today, the Council of the European Union approved the regulatory changes necessary to disburse this loan. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received more than EUR 200 billion in military, financial, and humanitarian support. We are grateful for the shared position of our partners and their clear understanding that Ukraine’s success is integral to Europe’s security.”

Yulia Svyrydenko stressed that Ukraine continues to advance the reforms required to meet the criteria for EU accession. “Ukrainian society has made its European choice irreversible, and we are working steadily to achieve this goal,” the Prime Minister underlined.
