Japan Celebrates National Foundation Day

The editorial team of Kyiv Diplomatic Magazine extends its sincere congratulations to H.E. Mr. Nakagome Masashi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, as well as to all members of the Embassy, the Consular Office, and the Japan Defense Attaché Office in Ukraine on the occasion of National Foundation Day.

This national holiday commemorates the historic ascension to the throne of Japan’s first Emperor, the legendary Emperor Jimmu, symbolizing the origins of Japanese statehood and the country’s centuries-old historical tradition.

On this solemn occasion, we also wish to highlight the steadily developing partnership between Ukraine and Japan, founded on mutual respect, shared democratic values, and constructive cooperation. Japan’s consistent support for Ukraine, particularly in the humanitarian and reconstruction spheres, stands as a testament to the strength of bilateral relations and the spirit of international solidarity.
