At a time when Ukraine is fighting for freedom and the right to a future, public diplomacy is not merely a tool of international communication—it has become a daily practice of national identity, resilience, and unity. Ukrainians—soldiers, volunteers, doctors, athletes, artists, scientists, diplomats—have become the voice of the country in a world that closely follows events and learns courage from us.

In this context, the "Person of the Year 2024" award, whose ceremonial presentation took place on May 31, 2025, is an important example of public diplomacy in action. The program, under the symbolic title “A Country of Heroes. Worthy of Glory!”, went far beyond a national distinction. It has established itself as a platform that conveys to the world stories of courage, professional excellence, humanitarianism, and international solidarity—elements that shape the modern image of Ukraine.
