Ruslan Stefanchuk meets with speaker of the Parliament of Finland Jussi Halla-aho in Stockholm
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk discussed a joint position on future peace negotiations with Speaker of the Parliament of Finland Jussi Halla-aho in Stockholm.

Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized that no peace plan can contradict the Constitution of Ukraine or the interests of the Ukrainian people. He underscored that a just peace must be reliably protected against the risk of renewed aggression.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada reported receiving clear assurances that support for Ukraine will remain steady and resolute. This is particularly important now, as every step taken by partners reinforces Ukraine’s position — before, during, and after any diplomatic process.
The parties also discussed security guarantees, sanctions policy, and the need to increase pressure on states that allow russia to circumvent established restrictions. They further addressed Ukraine’s European integration and the importance of a united stance on Hungary’s disruptive actions within European institutions.
