Ukraine Celebrates the 80th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence: A Diplomatic Reception Held in Kyiv

Festive events were held in the capital to mark the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Traditionally, the celebration began with a flag-raising ceremony at the Residence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to Ukraine, Arief Muhammad Basalamah. The ceremony was attended by numerous diplomats, embassy staff, representatives of the Indonesian community, and religious leaders.
