Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko holds meeting with EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso
The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, met with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Odile Renaud-Basso, who is on a working visit to Kyiv. The Head of Government thanked the EBRD leadership for their ongoing cooperation, support for Ukraine, and effective dialogue.

During the meeting, the parties focused on securing the necessary financial resources for gas procurement and ensuring a stable passage through the heating season. They also discussed the implementation of infrastructure and logistics projects, as well as opportunities to encourage foreign investment.
Particular attention was paid to financial support for the state budget through the adoption of a new IMF programme and the Reparations Loan mechanism.
“We look forward to a positive decision at the upcoming European Council meeting,” the Prime Minister stressed.
The Government also briefed the EBRD on measures to reboot the operations of Energoatom and other key state-owned energy companies. The aim is to ensure transparency, efficiency, and resilience in the energy sector amid russian aggression.
Ukraine and the EBRD remain in close cooperation and will continue to strengthen the partnership.
