Prime Minister of Ukraine informs EU member states’ ambassadors about new anti-corruption measures taken by the Government
During a meeting with ambassadors of European Union member states, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko discussed the situation in the energy sector and emphasised the importance of maintaining the trust of society and partners.

The Ukrainian side informed the ambassadors about the Government’s new measures to clean up and improve the effectiveness of anti-corruption policy in the energy sector.
“The Government’s actions are aimed at full cooperation and joint work with anti-corruption institutions to ensure the transparency of the executive branch. European diplomats have welcomed these steps,” Yulia Svyrydenko said.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine called on partners to join the process and submit proposals for candidates, initially for the supervisory board of Energoatom. The next stage will be an audit and renewal of the supervisory boards of state-owned enterprises in the energy sector.
“We will also consider a proposal to involve international auditors in this process. This is not a piecemeal approach, but a set of measures to update the management of the entire system – Naftogaz, Ukrhydroenergo, the Ukrainian Gas Transmission System Operator, Centrenergo and Ukrenergo,” emphasised the Head of Government. “The fight against corruption is important for national security and decisive on Ukraine’s path to the EU.”
During the meeting, Ukraine’s budget needs for 2026 were also discussed.
Yulia Svyrydenko thanked the representatives of the EU countries for their consistent support of Ukraine.
