The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, held a meeting with the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić
During the meeting at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the parties discussed a wide range of issues, from interparliamentary cooperation to European integration. «Ukraine and Serbia are not competitors on the path to the European Union, but partners who can support each other in implementing reforms,» Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasised.

The Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament stressed the importance of Serbia's clear position in supporting Ukraine, countering russian aggression, and developing cooperation in the fields of energy, food security, and humanitarian aid. «In addition, we discussed a number of issues related to strengthening future cooperation between the parliaments of our countries,» added the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
During a joint briefing, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabić stressed that Belgrade supports Ukraine's European course.
«Serbia fully supports Ukraine on its path to the European Union, and you can count on us for experience and technical assistance on this path,» Ana Brnabić said.
After the meeting, Ruslan Stefanchuk and Ana Brnabić paid tribute to the fallen soldiers at the Wall of Remembrance for Ukraine on St. Michael's Square.
Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed that Ukraine values dialogue based on respect, partnership and a shared vision of the European future of the two countries.
