Olexandr Mischenko received copies of the Credentials of the Ambassador of Somalia to Ukraine (Non-Resident) Mohamed

 

On November 4, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko received copies of the credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Ukraine with the residence in Belgrade Mohamed Abdullahi Ahmed.

The Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to Somalia for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for participating in international initiatives aimed at achieving a just peace in Ukraine

For his part, the Somalian diplomat commended the role of Ukraine as a guarantor of global food security and expressed hope for further development of cooperation with Ukraine in humanitarian sphere.

The interlocutors discussed deepening cooperation in trade, economic and political spheres, paying particular attention to the development of legal framework of bilateral relations and the prospects for interaction within international organizations.

Olexandr Mischenko wished the Somalian diplomat success in his work for the benefit of strengthening friendly ties between Ukraine and Somalia.
