Yulia Svyrydenko addresses financial support and Ukraine's recovery with leaders of the World Bank, EIB, and EBRD in Washington
During a working trip to the U.S., Ukraine's Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko met with the leadership of major financial institutions seeking to resolve key issues of Ukraine's recovery.
"In Washington D.C., we are focusing on maintaining Ukraine's financial stability. We negotiate continued cooperation with key international financial institutions. We've met with World Bank President Ajay Banga and Managing Director of Operations Anna Bjerde, European Investment Bank President Nadia Calviño, and EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso," Yulia Svyrydenko said.
The Head of Government noted that during the meetings, the parties were discussing the current portfolio of projects aimed at Ukraine's recovery, as well as financing needs for the next budget period. Moreover, an issue of the Reparations Loan mechanism built on frozen russian assets to provide comprehensive support to Ukraine and the situation with the energy sector resulting from russian attacks was also on the agenda.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine thanked the partners for their consistent support.
