Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is grateful to the Netherlands for significant military and humanitarian support of Ukraine
The First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko held a working meeting with members of the House of Representatives of the Dutch Parliament Rob Jetten and Jan Paternotte and co-founders of the Dutch NGO ‘Protect Ukraine’.
“We discussed in detail the issues of our cooperation. The main topic of the conversation was the military sphere: arms supplies, strengthening of air defence systems and cooperation in the military-technical sphere and development of domestic production,” said the First Vice Speaker of the Parliament.
Oleksandr Korniienko emphasised the strong interparliamentary cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands, as well as the effective interaction between the two countries in the defence sector. He also highlighted the important role of the Netherlands in supporting Ukraine on its European integration path. One of the key topics of the meeting was the strategic importance of Ukraine's membership in NATO.
“Cooperation between our countries is deepened at all levels. And it is very important for us to have such colleagues and friends who, together with Ukrainians, are on the path to the victory we all need,” said the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is grateful to the Netherlands for its significant military and humanitarian support to Ukraine. “We are grateful to Protect Ukraine for its significant contribution to strengthening the defence capability of our country,” Oleksandr Korniienko summed up.
